ABOUT THE FARM

Welcome to Ember Valley Farm,  family-run and nestled in the picturesque region of Kyogle, New South Wales. Our farm is uniquely situated in a remote area bordered by the Richmond Ranges and the Richmond State Forest, providing a serene and natural environment for our animals and produce. At Ember Valley Farm, we pride ourselves on exceeding the highest standards of animal welfare and sustainability. We maintain a density of less than 150 hens per hectare, far surpassing both the organic standard of 1,500 hens per hectare and the Australian Government's free-range maximum of 10,000. This commitment reflects our dedication to creating a healthy, stress-free environment for our animals. Our farming philosophy is rooted in regenerative and sustainable practices. By employing rotational grazing, we ensure that our animals have access to fresh, natural grass forage consistently. This method not only benefits the health and welfare of our animals but also allows the soil to rejuvenate, enhancing the nutritional value of our pastures. Our Chooks play a vital role in this system, naturally tilling the earth and enriching the soil with their manure, promoting a thriving ecosystem. And our Bees play a crucial role in pollinating crops, plants and wildflowers.  When you choose Ember Valley Farm produce, you are supporting a farm that is passionate about regenerative systems, the well-being of animals, and the health of our planet. Thank you for being part of our journey towards a sustainable future.
